Before & After

A few weeks ago I posted about a project I was working on while I was taking a few days off from work. Just thought I would share the finished product. This dresser was originally white and gold (it was awful- but it was free!) and then I painted it lime green, distressed the whole thing and added some new hardware. The dresser stayed lime green for a while, but I have decided to change things up a bit in the living room- or as much as I can change things up since we're just renting. I want our own house so bad!! - I digress

So, this time I started off with a good coat of white primer and then the green/blue sea glass color. Then I used my Black & Decker Mouse Sander to sand in various spots. Some parts I would sand down a little more than others letting the lime green actually come through. It's basically done, but I did not put any type of protective clear coat on yet, which I really need to do. Enough talking, here are some pictures! - Carolyn

Liked the green. LOVE the sea glass color!!! What is the name and brand of the paint? I wish you were going to be here long enough to re-invent some of my furniture!
